Conservation education is one of the most important ways to help students and volunteers understand how vital the work of environmental conservation is to the future of our planet. And while you may not realize it, the global plywood industry is helping to lead the way in conservation education.

At USply, we hold ourselves accountable to the global wood industry and prioritize our relationship with the environment just as much as our relationship with our clients. We hope to build a strong USply community that prioritizes trees and their impact on the world, and that’s why we decided to partner up with one of the oldest and most respected non-profit organizations devoted to planting trees and educating the public – The National Arbor Day Foundation.

With more than a million members, partners, and donors, the National Arbor Day Foundation helps to make the world greener and healthier.

Since 1972, this organization has planted more than 60 million trees and has helped educate communities about the importance of their conservation efforts. As one of their partners, a portion of every sale USply makes goes directly to this foundation. Some of the projects we help make possible include,

• Tree Campus USA

This nationwide program is devoted to working with students and teaching them the importance of conservation efforts. It also helps the next generation of citizens learn to recognize the value of trees.

• Tree City USA

In this program, the National Arbor Day Foundation provides the framework necessary for communities to manage and expand their public trees. Tree planting and care education for community members is often a large component of this program.

• Alliance for Community Trees

This program works with volunteer community-based organizations across the country to educate the public on the importance of planting and caring for trees.

• Nature Explore Youth Education

In this program, the National Arbor Day Foundation, in association with Nature Explore, helps provide children — many from urban areas — access to nature with outdoor design services, educator workshops, and natural products.
